10:40 – 10:45: Introduction
10:45 – 11:30: Starting up in Sheffield. A Panel event featuring Floyd Peltier from Business Sheffield and Ash Heeley from Hippie Herbal Turtle Co, winner of Sheffield Start Up Business of the Year 2022.
11:30 – 12:15: Success in the Creative Industries with Trickett. Iain Trickett runs a successful fashion and lifestyle business from Accrington. He has recently celebrated a ten year anniversary in the business and shares his story.
12: 15 – 13:00: Networking lunch. With the opportunity to talk to BIPC experts as well as a variety of business support agencies.
13:00 – 13:45: Researching and Protecting your business with the BIPC. Our Information Specialists Sarah and Suzy explain how to use our resources to research and develop your business, and talk about the importance of protecting your ideas.
13:45 – 14:30: Dino Sofos. Dino is the founder of podcasting powerhouse Persephonica, and tells us his story, from leaving a successful role at the BBC to everything about starting his own business.
